This, actually is one of my favorite things lol...
I fill my gun up with MAPP gas, take it over to the pool, stick the barel way down in there & fire it.... You gotta be careful, because it's one hell of a kick from that.. but it looks awsome =P water splashes everywhere...
Or.. Good sound effects.. I had posthole digger, so I dug a hole in the ground, about 3 or 4 ft deep.. less than a foot wide.. filled my gun with MAPP gas, stuck the barel down in the hole & fired it.. It's like a concusive blast.. it's sweet =P You can feel the vibration in the ground & everything..

No, theres already air in the chamber. Hes sayin basically use water as ammo. And as for firing into the ground...bad. Very bad. Dry firing is not your friend. The gun needs to have something to transfer the energy to. It's like pulling a bowstring or a slingshot back and letting go without a projectile. Its terrible for the gun.

No, it's different. W/o the projectile, the peak pressure is actually less, b/c the flaming stuff can expand down the barrel w/o resistance. So you are probably actually safer.

It's bad for interior components especially like fans and spark strips because there isn't enough back pressure. I've done it before, it can knock your fan out of place and can make it very difficult to keep in place during further uses. The whole mounting areas can become ruined.
