Tennis Balls are definitely the best ammo!!! their weight (mass) can be altered, and they can be reused repeatedly!

after much thought i went with tennis balls. because of versatility as Dr said. but golf balls and 2 oz Tabasco bottles are close.

i shoot them in a 1.5 rifled clear barrel. i wrap enough tape to engage the rifling. they work in sch40 1.5. you can load them ether way mt or full of water. i put a milk jug cap behind them for a extra seal. with rifled barrel it shows a lot of promise for accuracy.

What size pipe do you need for a golf ball.

When i don't have any thing else, i use easter eggs filled with rocks or jello. I shot one empty across the highway.

Until i go out and buy a 3" - 2" reducer tomorow, I'm stuck with a 1" barrel. So for right now i've mostly been shooting potatories (Not whole, I cut them in half and shove the potato into the barrel --Kind of like taking out a broken light bulb--and then cut the excess potato off, and shove the piece down inside) I was thinking about taking some plastic easter eggs (Really flimsy ones) and filling them with flour. Is it safe to have a potato gun fight with flour bombs?

im gona have 2 go tennies balls, they fit nice n snug in the barrel, n i find them alot ezier 2 c wen ther in the air:P
and like ive done a few times b4, u can rongly aim the cannen n leave a nice shatterd window in ur or a naghbours house..... so with tennis balls thers ALOT less chance of that

I hate my neighbor, I just built a BL combustion gun and Jab the barrel (chamber end) into piles of dog crap until its nice an choked up. Then I shoot it at the side of his house. Worked ok, so I tried something new, I take saran wrap and make dogcrap grenades. Work awesome. Sweet vengence is mine....

PVC pipe rockets are the best. They fly straight and can be used over and over again. Golf balls are easy to lose and you need a special barrel for tennis balls.

"C" batteries are perfect for 1" barrels and pigons soaked in gas are good for 2.5" barrels
