Would spark plug wires from a car work for my ignition, im wanting a stun gun but i might have to settle for an electric grill igniter, im a mechanic so i have easy acess to wire.

if it's a grill igniter you can use anything, id think a stungun would be the same, but it would have to be heavly insulated

thats why i was wanting to use it, a coil from a powerful motor basically is a stun gun, except ive saw coil sparks jump half a foot

thats the reason u can't use it. spark plugs would work technically but they require a much higher amperage that only a car battery could effectively supply. they use only 12 volts but i would imagine at least a few amps (not practical). Stun guns uses a different electrical set up than a normal spark plug. grill ignitors are cheaper, last longer, and much easier in general to install.

Use speaker cable. I use it on mine and have no second thoughts about it.
