bbq means the pierzo crystal type, and electric one runs off 1.5v and makes a very small spark

BBQ uses friction to create an electrical spark BBQ electric uses a battery and the destruction of a magnetic field (using an inductor) to create a large potential difference between poles thus creating a spark.
both use electricity but one uses a battery and one must convert mechanical energy. hope this helps.
