it will be hard to use a ball valve as a trigger because you will not have enough room to open it all the way. it could work, but im not sure how well it would work in the small area you have to pull it.
also how are you going to glue this all together with it allready strapped together? the pipe isn't even cleaned of burrs yet, you have to be realy sure with pnewmatic guns that everything is glued together realy well. primer is almost as important as the glue, if one piece is not glued properly you will regret it with the arm that isn't blown off as well as the other one that is withering in the sun ten feet away, i would take it all apart and glue it together while it's off, and then wait for it to cure before puting it back on, the inconvience will be small compaired to replaicing the whole gun/an arm or neck if somthing blows off
sorry if you knew all this, it's beter for me to tell you and you know it, than not telling you and having you finding out for yourself

ok, just makin sure. that gun looks like it's gonna be sweet, im not sure what you could use for a trigger besides a ball valve, maybe a modified sprinkler valve, but it wouldn't be very easy to fit it on so it would look nice and still work. and it's kinda complicated to figure out how to modify them, im not sure iv got it yet. i think a ball valve will work allright, you just won't be able to open it with one finger

since you want a trigger i would get the modified valve with a squeeze tipe trigger, with that you should be able to rig it up to fit right where you want it it to be so you can launch it with one finger

yeah you can, use a pvc reducer, if you get a 1"to3/4" reducing brushing you might just be able to screw a male addapter right into it, that would be usefull if you ever clogged your barrel and needed to take it off

you don't need to, this is just off the top of my head but, it may make less of a chance of anything blowing off if it were right after the chamber because there would be slightly less pressure on the pieces after the valve than the ones before it. then again, the pieces after the valve would be exposed to instant pressureizing when the valve opens witch could be harder on them. in other words, i don't think it matters
