I guess the ammo choice sort of depends on the barrel diameter, huh? Maybe we ought to decided those two things first. As for breahloading, it seems pretty straightforward to me. Unless you want realy long ammo, all you need to do is use a straight coupler w/ the stop ring filed out. The other option is to use two reducers and a coupler for a larger diam. pipe to do basically the same thing, but longer. I suppose you could also use a repair coupler, the ones withthe threaded caps at each end and a rubber lining inside, and clamp down when you tighten the caps.

I am a big fan of breech loading, but I don't like needing to take the barrel off to do it. So heres my site www.geocities.com/sgort87 and there are plans on there as to what I think a good breech load system should look like.

It should work nicely in theory, but I doubt it will be that strong. It might be alot of trouble to make it work well. The sliding coupler method doesn't require the barrel to be moved either, btw.

Yeah, but this method allows you to insert it all the way to the back and not worry about losing part of the barrel, the sliding method creates a section of the barrel where theres a missing chunk on the top that could cause a lot of power and accuracy loss. But maybe a combination of the sliding and folding by use of a hinge on the side of the small piece...I'll do another picture...Check my site for an explanation: www.geocities.com/sgort87

There was a problem with my website that may have caused some of you to not understand the design of that breech loader. My links were a bit messed up and it is now corrected. So I would appreciate if you would look over it once again. Thank you.
