im currently building an air rifle and holding it all together with sch 80 cement. im roughing up the surfaces of the gluing area with sandpaper. is this combo strong enough for 120 psi on 3" sch 40 pipe without using primer?

Do not sand your edges. Clean them, prime them, and glue. Do not sand. Do not skip primer.

yeah it is realy not good to scip out on primer with a pneumatic
